Normal comics should resume on Monday. Right now I'm in Boone, NC, doing a dental clinic for charity. Yeah, I'm a saint. Anyway, wi-fi is hard to come by out here in the mountains. I want to go home. Being a saint sucks sometimes.
I suggest you listen to Girl Talk's new album, Feed the Animals! Girl Talk is a genius who mashes up a smorgasbord of popular music from the past four decades. He's adopted the "In Rainbows" pricing scheme, so if you're cheap like me, you can grab it for free! It's pretty rad, and a lot of the radness comes from recognizing the songs themselves (listen for Rick Astley about 30 seconds into "Like This") and the contrast between all the different samples. It's like Danger Mouse's "Grey Album" on a far grander scale.
Wait, you're dentisting? Stickin' your grubby hands in people's mouths? pix or it didn't happen.
Everybody who is anybody already downloaded Girl Talk's new album for free from his website. Get with it! People have moved on to the new CSS album.
I'll be in NC next weekend! But not for charity. I'll be doin some jugglin' at Davidson U. I don't even know where it is.
m0moiro: Ack! I am behind on the times. CSS isn't my cup o' tea, (or my, uh, hot hot sex, as it were), but it pains me to see my hipster cred go down a notch.
I have no idea where Davidson University is either! Then again, we Hillsians disregard anything outside of the Triangle as "redneck territory".
Fiona: I did not put my hands in anyone's mouth! I organized patient charts with my mad alphabetizin' skillz.
P.S. You are a cruel and hateful beast.
It's near Charlotte, NC. Where I'm planning to go, actually.
Eh, assuming I pass.
And when the hell are you buying a fixie for your hipster-like commute?
What the hell, Ben. What does that even have to do with ANYTHING. You know what? You're not in the comic anymore. Yeah. I'm taking you out. You were going to be in tomorrow's, but you screwed it up. Way to go.
Oh, and to answer your question: I like to run. I'm very active.
